The Longcake family started their small business in 1991, Motorcycles Plus. The business was selling recycled used parts from Japanese sports bikes. A small mechanical workshop provided Maintenance and Servicing, and fitment of second-hand parts.
The business grew, more bikes imported and dismantled, and the shed got full! Needing more space, Paul found another local motorcycle business for sale. Shrewd negotiation followed, resulting in the Longcake empire growing. Motorcycle Masters had new owners and Motorcycles Plus moved in.
The business hasn’t changed much since. They still strive to provide the same honest service they gave in Briggs Street. The pricing is still fair, and the mechanical work guaranteed. The business has grown though. When they moved there was four staff and now many times that number. The service centre full of mechanics working hard at fixing customer bikes.
There is still a shed full of spare parts… and another out the back.
If you need your bike repaired, serviced, upgraded or cared for come here. This is the best place in town.
The business is a lot bigger. They offer new services such as WOVR or Licensing Inspection services. The business is still run by the Longcake family and much bigger than it was. The attitude is the same.
There is a reason why this family business has been successful for as long as it has. Come and find out for yourself why.
